Newport Logistics Fund II completes full investment cycle in Malaga in under two years

Newport Logistics Fund II has completed the sale of Panattoni Park Antequera, a c. 25,000 sqm build-to-suit logistics asset in Malaga, Spain. The asset has been acquired by a private investor.

Fully leased to Leroy Merlin under a long-term agreement, the facility serves as the retailer’s regional distribution centre for southern Spain. The site was acquired in December 2024, with completion and handover following in April 2026.

Panattoni Park Antequera is located within Antequera Business Park (PEAN), one of southern Spain’s leading logistics hubs. It provides direct access to the A-45 motorway and is located 23 km from the Antequera Dry Port, 50 km from Malaga city centre and 55 km from Malaga Airport.

Delivered by Panattoni Iberia, the facility has achieved BREEAM Excellent certification. Its features include electric vehicle charging stations, LED lighting, a 223 kWp photovoltaic installation and Class A-rated office space.

Projects across Newport Logistics Funds I, II and III represent a combined gross development value of approximately €870 million, including investments already realised.
